Ian Slater is the founder and Managing Director of Advantage Accounting.

Ian spent more than 15 years working in small and mid-tier accountancy practices before setting up Advantage Accounting in 2009 with the aim of ensuring that all clients receive a value added service.

Ian is well known and respected in the business community.  As well as working closely with his clients on all tax and accounting matters to ensure business success on a real time basis, Ian has dealt successfully with company sales, acquisitions, finance raisings, restructuring and bank renegotiations.

Ian’s mission is to work with his clients, not for his clients.

In his spare time, Ian likes nothing more than to spend time with his 2 daughters, play golf, run and watch Hamilton Accies.
